Who is Ian Coffey? 

Ian and his wife Ruth have been involved in Christian leadership for over 40 years.

Ian is an ordained Baptist Minister and has led churches in suburban, city-centre and international contexts. He is a vice-principal and Director of Leadership Training at Moorlands Bible College, Hampshire. 

Ruth is also on the Moorlands teaching team, where she lectures on pastoral care and leads the Foundation Course. She nursed in the NHS for many years before studying for an MA in Applied Theology and joining the Moorlands faculty. 

They both speak at conferences and events across the UK and in many other parts of the world, and have four adult sons and ten grandchildren.  Ian has authored fifteen books, the most recent, Postcards from the Edge – Finding God in Hard Places, in 2015.
