Soundbytes
Soundbytes activities are for children aged five, six and seven (that is Years R, 1 and 2 at school).
Soundbytes takes place in the Parish Church Hall, in Old Road, and this year was led by Carole Dean, Paul Bell and Martin Davis.
The theme for Soundbytes this year was "The Jungle Experience" and morning sessions were from 9.45 to 11.45 am, where there was a varied mix of songs, games, craftwork, a Bible story, and a serial drama story. And there was lots of fun too!
While your child is at Soundbytes morning sessions, why not go down to the marquee for a cup of tea or coffee. There is even a creche there, but it would be helpful for the creche if you took a named beaker for your child with you.
Afternoon activities for Soundbytes take place in the Parish Church garden on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
MONDAY 2.45 to 4.15 pm - Jungle Games
WEDNESDAY 2.45 to 4.15 pm - Jungle Bounce
FRIDAY 2.30 to 4.15 pm - Jungle Praise & Jungle Splash
And don't forget the SMILE puppets, the grand finale in the marquee on Saturday 9th in the morning at 10.45 am.
REGISTRATION
As we sometimes have limited places it is advisable to pre-register for Soundbytes, which this year takes place at the marquee on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd, from 2.30 to 4.00 pm.
